The Journey

The Journey is an evolving body of work centred on process, transformation, and the unfolding of form.

Through studies, chemigrams, drawings, and sculptural explorations, the series follows how ideas shift, fragment, and re-emerge over time.

Wild dogs appear as recurring symbols of instinct, resilience, movement, and survival. Across the collection, making, material response, and discovery become as important as the final image.

Process & Evolution

This body of work moves between control and unpredictability, combining intentional mark-making with processes that invite chance. Chemigrams, layered surfaces, line studies, and sculptural forms contribute to a visual language shaped by experimentation and response.

Rather than presenting a single fixed outcome, The Journey reveals art as an ongoing progression. Forms repeat, transform, dissolve, and return in new ways — echoing the rhythms of nature and the constant movement of life itself.

Inspired in part by the untamed beauty of the natural world and the endangered wild dog, the series invites reflection on fragility, adaptation, and endurance. It is both a personal exploration and a wider meditation on instinct, environment, and creative process.
